$842 million Powerball ticket sold in Michigan
A lucky individual in Michigan won an $842.4 million Powerball jackpot on the first day of 2024, the first time ever it has been won while bringing in New Year’s Day since 1992.
The Powerball winning numbers are: 12, 21, 42, 44, 49 and RED Powerball: 1.
Tickets sold to a skyrocketing $842.4 million, making it the 5th largest Powerball jackpot and 10th-largest U.S. lottery jackpot ever won in U.S History.
The golden ticket was sold at the Food Castle local convenience store in Grand Blanc Township, near Flint. This local Food Castle has been a beacon of the community for 40 years.
The lucky golden ticket winner will have a choice between an annuitized prize of $842.4 million, payable over 30 years, or a lump sum payment of $425.2 million.
